There are many symptoms that could relate with heatstroke in fact, many people have reported that they have faced some serious shivering during heat stroke. Heatstroke is a condition in which your body fails to cool down and it gets too hot. Moreover, in this condition your internal body temperature reaches at a level of 104°F.

In this blog, we will discuss some heat stroke symptoms and preventions.  The condition in which your body temperature rises up and it fails to cool down is known as heatstroke.

Heatstroke often occurs when a person has been too hot for too long or spending a long portion of time in extremely hot weather. In case, if you suspect that you are facing heatstroke symptoms then read on to know what these symptoms could be:

  • A headache
  • Dizziness
  • Red and hot skin
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Fast heartbeat
  • Dehydration (dark colored urine)
  • Muscle cramps
  • Heavy sweating.

Preventions Of Heatstroke

Symptoms of stroke in a child are same as in adults so, you could prevent both child and adult with the following preventions. The fact is there are many things you can do to prevent heat-related illness. Moreover, babies and old individuals are more sensitive therefore, they require more attention and care against this condition.

Try not to go outside when the weather is extremely hot, stay indoors in air conditioned areas. However, if you are still required to go outside then take the following preventions:

  • Use loose-fitting, lightweight dress
  • Wear a cap to protect your head from the sun
  • Keep drinking water to replace fluids lost through sweating
  • Do not leave anyone inside the car when it is hot outside
  • Try to schedule your activities in the cooler times of the day before 10 a.m. and after 6 p.m.
